How do I assign position numbers to items in a check?

Last Updated: Oct 23, 2012 01:34PM EDT
You can assign position numbers to items in food and beverage categories that correspond with the seating arrangement of guests. Position numbers inform servers and runners about what guests order and where they are seated. For example, you can send an order of fries to a guest in position 2, a salad to a guest in position 4 and a bottle of wine to the entire table. You can also send one item to multiple guests at a table.

Specify if your venue requires positions in the Categories section of Breadcrumb HQ. If it is required, then you will be prompted to select the position of each item in a category after it is chosen. Alternatively, you can assign a position by editing an item that has already been added to a check.
